Club Accounts are similar to Special Savings Accounts, however, they have a distinct purpose and set disbursement dates. America’s Credit Union offers a Christmas Club and a Vacation Club.
Christmas Club: You can open a Christmas Club Account at any time with a $5 minimum deposit. Most often, members fund this account with a direct deposit from their employer throughout the year, however, you can also make deposits any time that works best for you.
You can withdraw money from your Christmas Club Account between November 1 and December 31 to cover holiday shopping expenses, free of charge. There is a $5 fee per withdraw or transfer money between January 1 and October 31.
Vacation Club: You can open a Vacation Club Account any time of the year with a $5 minimum deposit. Make periodic deposits, or schedule direct deposits from your employer to save for the vacation of your dreams!
You can withdraw money from your Vacation Club Account between April 1 and August 31 to pay for your travel expenses, free of charge. There is a $5 fee per withdraw or transfer money between September 1 and March 31.
